Schools and Nurseries
At Mini Horse Heroes, our miniature ponies are specially trained to bring fun, wonder, and engagement to children of all ages in schools, nurseries, and colleges.

As a qualified teacher with experience in special needs provision, I am comfortable supporting children with a wide range of learning needs. Our ponies are calm and patient, creating opportunities for every child to take part—whether through petting, grooming, or simply enjoying being close to the ponies.
​
Children usually meet the ponies in small groups, giving them time to ask questions, explore, and even walk alongside the ponies with the support of a handler. These visits often spark curiosity, build confidence, and encourage meaningful interaction.
​
We hold an Entertainments Licence from Maidstone Council (a requirement for validating our insurance policy). Before each visit, we provide a copy of our insurance and a detailed risk assessment, which can be adapted to suit your school or nursery.

Our mission is simple: to make every visit a positive, memorable experience that inspires children and brings a little extra magic into their day.
School Pony Visits
Enjoy a one-hour visit to your nursery or school with a miniature pony.
Children will meet the pony in small groups, giving them the chance to pet, groom, and interact up close.
​
The visit can be educational, learning about ponies and how to care for them—or simply a joyful opportunity to spend time with the pony. Many children also love offering a treat or watching the pony play with a feed ball, which is both entertaining for the children and enriching for the pony.

Visits are flexible and can be tailored to your group, and we can cope with mixed age groups.
Where appropriate, children may also have the opportunity to walk with the pony under our guidance.
Includes:

* Support to encourage engagement (brushes, scrunchies, bands etc provided)
* Treats / feedballs if requested

Nursery School Visits
Children can meet the pony in very small groups, giving them the chance to gently stroke, brush, and say hello up close.
​
The visit is designed to be calm and engaging for little ones. They can enjoy watching the pony, and if comfortable use a little creativity to give the pony a little makeover. These moments spark curiosity and smiles while building confidence around animals.

Our ponies support local community events for schools such as Living Land at Detling Showground each year, and we attend events at Teston and Wateringbury Pre-school such as sports day.
